Life is so busy it is hard to find time to snap some photos of your children at home. Even if you do maybe they never come off the camera or computer. Let me capture some fun, relaxed, playful images of your kids at play with each other. I am not talking about portraits, just simple fun images at the park or beach, or even your home. I'll do the printing for you.

So you've been together 1 year, 10 years, or 50 years. You don't have to wait for engagement, your wedding, or an anniversary. How many couples have I heard say "we don't have any recent photos of just the two of us, just our wedding photos". I have many photos of my husband and I and I love looking back on our 17 years together (especially how his glasses have evolved!). So give me a call and set up a session just for the two of you. When choosing clothing for photos keep in mind simple is better. You don't want to draw attention away from you with busy patterns and word on shirts. Solids are your best choice. Bring a variety of sleeve lengths so everything doesn't look the same. Make sure your clothes fit you well and aren't ill fitting. The most important thing is that you like what you are wearing.

When is the best time for outdoor photos?

Obviously weather is unpredictable, but the months of April through October are best. Early spring can be wet gloomy and there isn't any foliage. November the leaves are down and it is cold, wet and windy, typically. Winter snow photos can be fun if there is any. Photos taken while it is actually snowing cause spots so that can be tough. Going back to spring, summer and fall there are two optimum times of day, a few hours after sunrise or morning and the hours before sunset. The light is soft, warm and beautiful. Not to say you can't have a great session any time of the day it just takes a professional to work with the light.
